Yisrayl Hawkins speaks with Nancy Grace

By joshuah | May 21, 2008

Idiotic CNN host Nancy Grace displays some rather biased “reporting” in this here video.  The tactic is interesting, although not exactly novel:

  1. Invite guest on show, knowing full well taht pending legal proceedings will hamper guest’s ability to answer certain questions.
  2. Aggressively ask those questions that you know will not be answered.
  3. Show indignation that the guest is “avoiding the question.”

I suppose Yisrayl Hawkins was able to say what he wanted to say, that he doesn’t promote bigamy, but I suspect most people will view it as a win for the idiotic interviewer.  It is her show, after all.

In his first live interview ever, alleged polygamist leader Yisrayl Hawkins speaks with Nancy Grace.

Oh Come-on Joshuah, Nancy was not biased at all. I can see you weren’t one of the “privledged children” working in the fields for Yisrayl Hawkins all day long. He does not believe in divorce, but he sure likes to sleep around with young girls. Shame on you! Please - this man is a monster. I’m sure God (not his Church of Yahweh) has a special place just for him. Yep, Nancy was on fire and gave him a much needed taste of reality. Get over yourself Joshuah, Nancy wasn’t biased, just very honest.

Thanks for the comment. However, I still stand by what I said.

No, I was not one of those children, nor have any affiliation of any type with the Church of Yahweh, which allows me to be rather objective in this matter.

Oh Joshuah - Not to be nasty, but how are you being objective? I’m wondering, have you ever been approached by one of these cultish religions? It happened to my friend. Yes - I attended her church twice. I was told by the pastor not to watch the news, he would tell me everything I needed to know (another profit I guess), what to wear, not to wear and to never cut my hair. Also, they kept laying their hands on me so I would speak in tounges and when that didn’t happen, I was told I was going to Hell. It was scary. I ran in the other direction. They said they didn’t believe in poligamy also, but the men are allowed to be close with anyone they choose to be with besides their wives. I’m sorry, but when I look at him, I see a monster.

My comments were related to the interview that Nancy Grace conducted with Yisrayl Hawkins, and were not related to the validity of claims made against him. I don’t know if he is a monster, since I know very little of him, but my analysis of the interview is that Nancy Grace showed considerable bias. I don’t think this is surprising. She got the “first live interview ever” with alleged polygamist leader Yisrayl Hawkins, and I think that’s all she was after.

Your experience sounds rather peculiar, but I would point out that, unless I missed it somehow, it did not occur at the House of Yahweh. Therefore, I would call your categorization of Yisrayl Hawkins as a “monster” (based upon your own experiences) biased as well. Do you agree?

Perhaps later this afternoon I will take the time to transcribe the interview…it was rather short overall.

joshua is right, nancy grace is wrong. I would ask all of you to not judge yisrayl hawkins or the house of Yahwey concerning any of these (allegations) till you absolutely know for yourselves that any of this propaganda is true. And as far as the laws of the Bible concerning marriage be it 1,2 3 or more, wives, all you have to do is open your Bible and look.IT IS ALOWED! Yisrayl Hawkins cannot be compard to as any other Preacher that tells you to listen just to them(LISA Flanagan) Obviosly you dont know the word of the creator.,because he(Yisrayl) absolutly tells everyone not to believe him till you research it on your own. He also shows you absolute proof of what he preaches concerning the Bible. I know this to be fact! And why are some of you calling the House Of YAHWEY A cult, This is wrong to say. At one time Christianity was a cult! or still is? Who are you to judge? There is only one judge. The House or YAHWEH follows the same laws that the savior did, as he so teached. No more no less.

I am not biased in any way, I just happened to research The House Of YAHWEH and all they taught a few years ago and have not found anything wrong with what the teach. Christianity should teach the same but they follow the catholics bible which its origin comes from the anciant romans that persicuted Jews and Christians of that time. The true Christians were Jews. It was the roman emperor Constatine that chose to embrace the Christian religin and pollute it because they couldn’t squash it(cant beat them, join them)Also religion at that time was good money for the romans. The same is still true. Americas Christians started out as protesting the roman catholic churchs rule and unjustice against the people ,but when they came here to the americas they took the king james version of the bible whith was put together by monks under the romans watchful eye and they the roman church decided what writtings were aloud in and what was not aloud in the bible, this was by order of king james. So think about that as you discuss these things. The House Of YAHWEY is only trying to return to ALL of us the true real Word of YAHWEY or God (whatever you call him by)The way the savior did,

    Thanks for the comments Don.

When a group of Scripture based believers is targeted for persecution, it is usually on the grounds of either sexual abuse or child abuse, or a combination of the two, because these are the things which will garner the most public support for the persecution, without the necessity of any facts. Throw allegations of child abuse, or polygyny into the mass media, and you immediately have the majority opinion on your side. The allegations rather quickly become “facts.”

We’ve seen this perception management at work in the FLDS case, and perhaps we will in the House of Yahweh case as well…indeed, the case with Yisrayl Hawkins would appear to be riding on the coat tails of the State action against the FLDS.

Admittedly, the “authorities” have a difficult time infiltrating many of these groups and entrapping them or setting them up in some fashion, and so they resort to whatever means necessary to bring them down. The question is why.

In my opinion, the State, the god of the current secular humanistic system, targets such groups because they represent a different law system…a different God-King-Lawgiver…and the State attempts to destroy this threat to their authority, at all costs. I think it is as simple as that.

It’s not a matter of law vs no law, but is a matter of whose law: the Law of Yahweh, or the law of man (the state.)

Paul said: “Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.” 2Ti 3:12 -13

I would emphasize that Paul said that all who desire to live a godly life in Jesus Christ WILL be persecuted, not MIGHT be.

For example, you do not find the Baptists or the Catholics being persecuted today, unless you perhaps allow for hurt feelings or wounded pride to be considered persecution. Indeed!, it is denominations such as those who will persecute those who dare to listen to the words and Law of Yahweh, and to do them. Why? Because those denominations obey and serve, above all else, the god of the State.

I’ll supply a brief quote from Rushdoony on this, from The Institutes of Biblical Law, Vol. I, pg. 38:

“No law-order can permit an attack on its foundations without committing suicide.”

It is probably because if we in this country obeyed all of the 613 laws in the bible, this current society couldn’t stand as it is (Lawless) in goverment and people. Everyone that says that they believe in what the Bible says should read what the savior says in Matthew chapter 5 verse 17-20. Do not think I have come to obolish the law or the prophets: I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until Heaven and earth disappear. not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of the pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heavan, but whoever practices and teaches these commandments will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the Law, you will certainly not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Well I certainly think that says it all, Even a real dummy can uderstand that passage. KEEP THE LAWS

Um…where to begin? I don’t have any objections to consenting adults participating in polygamous relationships. However, it starts to get a little sticky when there is dispute over what constitutes a consenting adult…

If polygamy is so fantastic, why not wait until the age of consent and allow the individual to make a decision on an objective analysis of the supposed benefits? I disagree with religious sects, using the word of god (whatever god they have decided to come up with this time..) to create utopias of their own making. Birthing, raising, and cultivating the young women in the community to be willing participants in a polygamous relationship - at a questionable age at that. It is unfair and immoral - and the YFZ ranch is most certainly not the Kingdom of Heaven - nor is any community in which the members are being bullyed into submission.

It’s interesting… I’ve never heard of any religious community with similar attributes to that of YFZ that have been founded by, presided over, or conceptualized by a woman. Name me one. And then tell me these types of communities aren’t in the least bit ‘biased’ or self serving in terms of their male constituents.

    Get real.

    Don,

Your not far from the Kingdom of Yahweh. Its great to see some people still get educated and investigate before they make judgments. The proverb says that a fools folly is answering without hearing a matter. They didn’t listen to the Savior either and that is why they nailed Him to a stake as well. Yisrayl Hawkins is one of the Two Witnesses spoken of in Isaiah 44 and Revelation
    11. His brother Jacob (Yaaqob) died years ago in fulfillment of Isaiah 43:28 that plainly said Jacob would be given to the curse (death) and Yisrayl would be given to “reproaches”, such as we have been witnessing of late, i.e. false accusations of child labor violations and polygamy. This has always been the tactic of the Catholic Church owned media of the United States. Revelation 12:12 shows clearly that Satan knows she has but a short time. It shows that she has given her power and authority to the Holy Roman Empire, now known as the Roman Catholic Church (Rev. 13:2) The Roman Catholic Church, along with those who have forsaken the House of Yahweh (fall aways) are the cause of all the propaganda, called “water as a flood” that the serpent has cast out of her mouth against The House of Yahweh at this time. But the “earth” (i.e. the US Supreme Court)
has “helped the woman” (the House of Yahweh) in its ruling in the FLDS case by not allowing CPS to go in and harm the children at the House of Yahweh as they did the FLDS children. The ruling was ultimately to help the House of Yahweh, as Yahweh will not allow His House to be destroyed in these Last days. And all of the propaganda that has come against The House of Yahweh has only served to further the message, that the Nuclear Baby will soon be born in and around the great River Euphrates killing a third part of mankind in that area and ultimately spreading to all nations, and the end of the governments “of and by the people” and against Yahweh will soon end, and the Saints will possess the kingdoms forever and ever (Daniel 7:26-27).
